About the role
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and related technologies. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, and backend application components. Work with SQL Server, database design, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning. Apply object-oriented programming principles, SOLID principles, and appropriate design patterns. Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable application architectures in collaboration with the technical team. Troubleshoot complex technical issues, debug applications, and resolve production defects. Integrate third-party APIs, external systems, and enterprise applications. Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and development best practices. Write unit tests and contribute to automated testing and continuous integration processes. Identify opportunities for improving application performance, code quality, and system reliability. Mentor junior developers and support knowledge-sharing initiatives. Prepare technical documentation and contribute to project estimation and delivery planning.
What you'll do
- Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem.
- Experience with .NET Core / modern .NET and ASP.NET Core.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Web API development, and microservices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, SQL queries, stored procedures, and database optimization.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Experience with Entity Framework Core or similar ORM technologies.
- Familiarity with Git and source control management.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and debugging tools.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, API security, and application performance optimization.
- Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud services and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
